PADI Open Water Course

Whether you’ve never worn fins before or you’re eager to take your snorkeling experience further, this course provides everything you need to dive safely and confidently. Under the guidance of a certified PADI Instructor, you’ll build skills step by step - starting with PADI’S interactive eLearning, moving into the pool for confined-water practice, and finally applying your new abilities in open water dives.

Course Structure 

1. Knowledge Development - Complete the PADI eLearning at your own pace (purchased separately through PADI).
2. Confined Water Training - Pool practice to master basic scuba skills. 
3. Open Water Dives - Four training dives in the ocean where you’ll explore while demonstrating your skills. 
   

Class Options

• Group Classes - Learn alongside other new divers in a fun, social setting. Great for friends, families, or anyone who enjoys the energy of a group. 
  
• Private Classes - One-on-one training with flexible scheduling, personalized instruction, and the ability to progress at your own pace. 

Prerequisites

• Minimum age: 10 years old (Junior Open Water Diver for ages 10-14). Ages 10-14 must be in a Private Class.
• Ability to swim and feel comfortable in the water. 
  
• Medically for for diving (medical for provided).
• Paperwork filled out and turned in by Orientation.

Certification 

Upon completion, you’ll earn your PADI Open Water Diver certification, recognized worldwide, allowing you to dive a maximum depth of 60 feet / 18 meters with a buddy.
